Job summary

Talan is seeking a Senior Calypso Developer to join a newly formed technology team supporting the Capital Markets operations for a leading European banking organization. This on-site role is based in Wroclaw, Poland, with relocation assistance for candidates from other regions of Poland.

You will design, develop, and maintain Calypso customizations and integrations, work with Front Office, Middle Office, Risk, and Back Office stakeholders, and build Java-based solutions within the Calypso

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Calypso.
• Experience with Oracle/SQL databases.
• Understanding of Capital Markets and financial products.
• Experience with integrations, APIs, messaging systems, or event-driven architectures.
• Ability to work directly with business and technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Calypso customizations and integrations.
• Support production and business-critical Capital Markets activities.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, support teams, and architects.
• Develop Java-based solutions within the Calypso ecosystem.

About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Calypso Developer to join a newly formed technology team supporting the Capital Markets operations of a leading European banking organization.

This is a unique opportunity to help build a team from the ground up and play a key role in the evolution, support, customization, and enhancement of a large-scale Calypso environment used across Front Office, Middle Office, Risk, and Back Office functions.

The role also offers long-term project stability, exposure to complex financial products, and the possibility of future internalization with the client after a certain period of collaboration.
