Job summary

GlobalLogic seeks a seasoned embedded software engineer to design and implement a high‑performance UI framework for smart home IoT devices using C++, Qt6, and QML. You will develop reusable components and robust interfaces across the product ecosystem for constrained hardware.

You will mentor peers, perform code reviews, and collaborate with hardware engineers and product managers to ensure scalable architectures, optimum performance, and maintainability.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in C++ with modern standards and OO design.
• Strong expertise in Qt UI development, events, and cross‑platform architecture.
• Advanced knowledge of QML for dynamic, high‑performing UIs.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust C++/Qt/QML software for embedded systems in home automation.
• Develop and maintain responsive user interfaces with focus on performance.
• Contribute to architectural design for new features with scalable, maintainable code.
• Lead complex modules, enforce coding standards, and perform code reviews.
• Mentor junior developers in C++, Qt, and QML best practices.
