Job summary

Spyrosoft Synergy is seeking an experienced Lead Qt/QML Developer to join an international team working on a large-scale desktop application built with Qt, QML, and modern C++. As a Lead, you will mentor engineers, influence architectural decisions and promote engineering best practices.

You will contribute to the development of a mature product used globally and collaborate with stakeholders to define and deliver new features, while driving technical decisions across the team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial experience in software development.
• Strong commercial experience with C++ (including modern C++).
• Experience developing desktop applications using Qt and QML.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, architecture, and design patterns.
• Experience working with large codebases and long-term software projects as well as smaller and more agile ones.
• Familiarity with version control systems, code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD practices.
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage priorities.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate in an international environment.
• English proficiency at C1 level (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain desktop or embedded applications using Qt/QML and modern C++.
• Collaborate with product teams and stakeholders to define and deliver new features.
• Drive architectural and technical decisions.
• Ensure high code quality through code reviews, testing, and continuous integration practices.
• Support and mentor other developers.
• Contribute to maintaining and evolving a large, established codebase.
• Work independently and take ownership of delivered solutions.
• Participate in Agile development processes.
