Job summary

Elekta is seeking a Senior Buyer to support Procurement Operations with a global footprint, starting with Region Europe. You will manage indirect material spend, balance quality, cost and delivery, and apply sourcing policies while handling day-to-day sourcing and requisition tools.

You will partner with stakeholders and Global Category Managers, lead supplier selection, negotiate terms, and drive cost savings while ensuring supplier performance and contract compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of buying or category management experience, ideally in indirect materials.
• Experience with indirect purchasing systems (Coupa).
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Ability to build business cases with financial concepts.
• Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Fluent English and strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

What You'll Bring

• Experience with indirect purchasing systems (Coupa) and advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Understanding of sourcing strategy deployment and financial concepts, with the ability to build business cases.
• Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills, plus contract management experience and an understanding of contract law.
• Fluent English and strong communication skills to engage internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
