We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst with a strong analytical mindset and a good understanding of software engineering and GenAI-based solutions.

The candidate will work closely with the Product Owner, solution architect, and development team to translate business objectives into clear, actionable requirements and support the delivery of the MVP in an agile environment.

The role requires the ability to bridge business needs and technical implementation, particularly in the context of LLM-powered applications, AI agents, knowledge retrieval, and human-in-the-loop workflows.

What you will do

• Collaborate with the Product Owner and stakeholders to clarify business objectives, user needs, and MVP scope.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
• Decompose business processes into individual workflow steps, defining inputs, outputs, dependencies, validation rules, and decision points.
• Analyse and document requirements for LLM-powered workflows, AI agents, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and knowledge integration.
• Define expected AI behaviour, including output structure, source attribution, validation requirements, error handling, and fallback scenarios.
• Support the design of human-in-the-loop processes, including user approvals, GO/NO-GO gates, feedback mechanisms, and decision traceability.
• Work with developers and architects to clarify API contracts, data structures, integration requirements, and system interactions.
• Identify functional and technical dependencies, edge cases, assumptions, and risks at an early stage.
• Define test scenarios and acceptance criteria for AI-generated outputs, including relevance, factual consistency, source grounding, and compliance with business rules.
• Support iterative refinement of requirements based on technical feasibility, user feedback, and MVP validation results.
• Maintain clear and lightweight documentation that supports rapid development without introducing unnecessary overhead.

What we are looking for

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, or Systems Analyst in software development projects.
• Ability to translate business needs into detailed functional requirements, user stories, and testable acceptance criteria.
• Good understanding of software architecture fundamentals, REST APIs, JSON, data models, and system integrations.
• Practical understanding of LLM-based applications and core GenAI concepts, including prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, vector search, and AI agent workflows.
• Ability to analyse multi-step business processes and define workflow logic, dependencies, decision rules, and exception handling.
• Understanding of data quality, source attribution, traceability, and the limitations of AI-generated content.
• Experience working closely with developers, solution architects, and product stakeholders in an agile delivery environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in an evolving MVP scope.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts in business terms and business requirements in technical terms.
