For our Client from the pharmaceutical industry, we are looking for a Business Analyst who will act as a subject matter expert in pharmaceutical manufacturing. You will play a key role in bridging business and technology teams while driving process optimization, system integration, and innovation within a highly regulated environment.
What you will do:
- Interview business stakeholders, domain leads, and system owners to identify business opportunities, assess their value, dependencies, and impact, and support business case development.
- Analyze, design, and document business processes, user stories, and functional requirements related to Emerson PKM and integrations across MES, LIMS, ERP, PLM, and reporting solutions, ensuring GxP compliance and data interoperability.
- Create functional specifications, architecture decision records, and technical documentation for system configurations, integration solutions, and reporting requirements.
- Facilitate collaboration between business and technical teams, ensuring a common understanding of business processes, data flows, system capabilities, and solution architecture.
- Identify and support the implementation of Generative AI and Machine Learning use cases within the pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
What we're looking for:
- Hands-on experience with manufacturing systems and product recipe design, including exposure to solutions such as MES, LIMS, ERP, PLM, ELN, DeltaV, or SAP S/4HANA, as well as system integration projects.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex business needs into structured functional and non-functional requirements and process documentation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with proven experience working in cross-functional, global environments and driving productive discussions toward successful outcomes.
- Fluent English and good understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, with availability to collaborate during the 3:00 PM-7:00 PM CET overlap window with EU and US teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, combined with 5-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Architect, or Consultant within the pharmaceutical or Life Sciences industry.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of ISA-95 and ISA-88 standards and enterprise integration concepts.
- Experience working in SAFe Agile environments.
- Understanding of SQL databases, reporting systems, and data interoperability principles.
- Experience in highly regulated environments, including pharmaceutical manufacturing organizations.
- Exposure to global or multi-site manufacturing integration programs and cross-domain architecture initiatives.
