OpenX Kraków is seeking a Senior Data Platform Engineer to design and deliver large-scale data processing systems that power our ad marketplace. You will own end-to-end data pipelines and work with multiple distributed teams to ensure scalable, high-performing, and reliable data infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Java or Scala development (Python is a plus).
• 3+ years building Big Data systems and data pipelines.
• Experience with SQL-based transforms using dbt or Dataform.
• Hands-on with distributed processing using Apache Spark.
• Proficiency with BigQuery or other data warehouses; performance tuning.
• Familiarity with Airflow for data orchestration.
• Cloud experience with GCP or AWS, plus Kubernetes and Docker.
• Understanding CI/CD, testing, monitoring, and DevOps basics.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and databases (RDBMS/NoSQL).
• Bachelor’s in CS/Physics or related; Master’s a plus.
• Fluent Polish and English communication.
