Job summary

OpenX, Kraków, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong platform and cloud expertise to design and implement scalable integrations that enhance our real-time ad-tech platform. You will join a talented team collaborating with partner engineers and product squads, delivering secure, robust solutions at scale.

You will design high-performance distributed systems, own end-to-end features, and work across global teams to optimize efficiency, reliability, and cost.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience building SaaS applications using Python.
• Experience with database system design, MySQL/PostgreSQL or NoSQL.
• Experience with AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
• Deep knowledge of cloud solutions with cost awareness.
• Experience with REST/GraphQL.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker, CI/CD, SQL (BigQuery).
• Communicative Polish and English

Responsibilities

• Design high-performance, distributed, low-latency systems.
• Architect, create and deliver new features and functionality.
• Work with Product to drive the requirements, and own the project end-to-end.
• Work with Engineering and Product teams distributed across multiple locations.
• Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of servers and processes.
• Think long-term and be unsatisfied with band-aids.
• Identify unnecessary complexity and remove it, analyze existing solutions
