Job summary

ActiveCampaign is expanding its Krakow hub as a center for data-centric software engineering. You will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and modern data stack components while collaborating with Data Science and AI teams to operationalize research.

The role emphasizes Terraform-driven IaC, automated testing, and robust CI/CD practices, with exposure to AWS, Snowflake, Spark, and DBT in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience with data systems.
• Deep Data Architecture expertise for modern data stack design.
• Proficiency in Terraform for IaC.
• Strong software engineering rigor with automated testing and CI/CD.
• Expert-level SQL skills, especially MySQL.
• Experience with Python, AWS, Snowflake, Spark, and DBT.
• Excellent communication to translate complex concepts for all peers.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build high-throughput data pipelines across our ecosystem.
• Execute data modeling and schema design with DDL/DML for performance and scalability.
• Champion engineering excellence with automated testing, CI/CD, and IaC.
• Collaborate with Data Science/AI teams to engineer feature stores and MLOps pipelines.
• Drive system monitoring and health checks in Kubernetes, Docker, and Airflow.
• Act as a technical advisor translating complex architectures for stakeholders.
