Job summary

ActiveCampaign is expanding its Kraków office and seeks a senior data software engineer to architect and build scalable data pipelines and modern data stack components. You will own schema design, implement Terraform-based infrastructure, and ensure production-grade reliability with automated testing and CI/CD.

You will collaborate with Data Science and AI teams to deploy feature stores and MLOps pipelines, while maintaining observability in Kubernetes, Docker, and Airflow environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building production-grade data systems.
• Deep Data Architecture expertise, with ability to design modern data stack components and schemas.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code, specifically using Terraform.
• A high level of software rigor, including automated testing, CI/CD, and best practices.
• Expert-level SQL skills (particularly MySQL).
• Experience in Python, AWS (S3, Aurora, RDS), Snowflake, Apache Spark, and DBT.
• Exceptional communication skills to distill complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Architect and Build Pipelines by designing, developing, and maintaining high-throughput data pipelines across our ecosystem.
• Execute Data Modeling and Schema Design using DDL and DML for optimized data structures.
• Champion Engineering Excellence with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally with Data Science and AI teams to engineer feature stores and automated MLOps pipelines.
• Drive System Monitoring and health checks for containerized environments (Kubernetes, Docker, Airflow).
• Act as a Technical Advisor translating complex data architectures into clear guidance for stakeholders.
