Job summary

Nordea Bank Abp in Poland seeks a Backend Developer for Savings and Investment Product & Retail Order Management Technology Service Domain. You will design, develop, and maintain Java applications that support our savings and investments products, and contribute to robust calculation engines.

Qualifications

Strong Java 21+ proficiency with Spring/Hibernate.
Experience with relational databases and SQL (PostgreSQL).
Knowledge of OpenAPI/AsyncAPI for data exchange.
Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
Nice to have Python and Airflow experience.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain Java applications for savings and investments products.
Build robust calculation engines to ensure tax regulation compliance across countries.
Develop support for complex business processes, integrating with tax authorities and generating customer reports.
Participate in full software development lifecycle—requirements, design, coding, testing, deployment.
Collaborate with financial analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions.
