Job summary

Diverse CG Sp. z o.o. Sp.k. is seeking a Java/Spring Boot engineer to upgrade applications to Java 17+ and Spring Boot 3.3.x, and to design and maintain Java solutions for savings and investments products.

You will work with PostgreSQL/SQL, JMS/MQ, OpenAPI/AsyncAPI, and CI/CD, collaborating with financial analysts to translate requirements into scalable software. Fluent English is required; the role offers ongoing support from a dedicated consultant.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Java and Spring Boot upgrade projects.
• Strong proficiency in Java 21 and Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and SQL.
• Practical knowledge of messaging technologies such as JMS, MQ or similar.
• Strong understanding of Java frameworks including Spring and Hibernate.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL-based development.
• Knowledge of OpenAPI and AsyncAPI for producing and consuming data.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of software design patterns and object-oriented programming principles.
• Very good command of English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Upgrade applications to Java 17+ and Spring Boot 3.3.x baseline.
• Design, develop and maintain Java applications supporting savings and investments products.
• Build calculation engines ensuring compliance with tax regulations across multiple countries.
• Develop solutions supporting complex business processes, tax authority integrations and customer-facing reporting.
• Participate in requirements analysis, solution design, development, testing and deployment activities.
• Collaborate with financial analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
