Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree + 6 years of related experience.
• Professional software development experience in C++, including designing, building, and maintaining production backend, systems, or distributed software.
• Strong understanding of software design, data structures, algorithms, debugging, testing, and code review practices.
• Experience investigating complex reliability, scale, or performance issues in production systems.
• Ability to work independently, lead medium-sized technical initiatives, and write clean, maintainable, and secure code.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and maintain core License Manager capabilities using C++ to support secure, scalable, and reliable product functionality.
• Lead complex features from technical design through production delivery, balancing correctness, performance, security, and long-term maintainability.
• Diagnose and resolve complex production issues to improve system resilience, observability, and operational readiness.
• Partner with product management, support, and engineering stakeholders to translate customer and business needs into robust technical solutions.
• Mentor engineers, contribute to technical design discussions, and help raise the engineering bar through high-quality code, documentation, and engineering best practices.
