Job summary

Luxoft Poland is seeking a senior Cloud Engineer to design, build and operate scalable cloud services for edge device management and OTA updates. You will own CI/CD pipelines, implement observability, and lead security and reliability improvements across multi-region AWS infrastructure.

You will mentor junior engineers, collaborate with hardware, product and other software teams, and apply IaC practices to deliver robust end-to-end solutions for a global transportation platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of industry experience.
• Experience with Amazon AWS services (EKS, S3, SQS, RDS, Cognito, Lambda).
• Proficiency in Python or Go for production services.
• Experience with SQL and databases; ability to write performant queries.
• Solid Kubernetes knowledge and container orchestration in production.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration across teams.
• Experience designing scalable, secure APIs and microservices.
• Experience in agile DevOps/SRE environments.

Responsibilities

• Participate in incident prevention, response, and remediation efforts.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud services for observability, OTA updates, and fleet operations.
• Lead reliability, security, and performance improvements across multi-region AWS infrastructure using IaC.
• Own CI/CD pipelines for cloud services and automated delivery processes.
• Set high standards for software engineering and DevOps practices including postmortems.
• Collaborate with hardware, product, and other engineering teams to define system requirements.
• Drive architectural decisions, code reviews, and long-term technical strategy for cloud services.
• Mentor junior engineers and share expertise in cloud technologies and patterns.
