Job summary

Jibe Ventures is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Poland to join the First Team and help shape our payments infrastructure. You will lead backend development, collaborate with product and engineering, and drive best practices in code quality and performance.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of hands-on experience with Node.js, React, and TypeScript, strong API design and architecture skills, and a DevOps mindset. This is a full-time on-site role with fintech scale impact.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development with Node.js, React and TypeScript.
• Strong coding skills and ability to build scalable, reliable systems.
• Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and modern practices (Agile, CI/CD, DevOps).
• Experience with RESTful API design and development.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of product development from ideation to deployment.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders for timely feature delivery.
• Lead the design and implementation of RESTful APIs for internal/external integrations.
• Optimize app performance for low latency and high availability.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards.
