Job summary

Affim is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Backend for the Communications Core in a remote Poland setup. You will own backend systems, design robust services, and collaborate with product, security, and analytics teams to deliver scalable messaging capabilities.

You will work on multi-region, multi-tenant architectures, integrate with external messaging vendors, and drive reliability, observability, and performance across the stack.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Strong backend design and architecture skills.
• Experience building high-volume, reliable services.
• Experience with AWS, MySQL, DynamoDB, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with multi-region, multi-tenant platforms.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver quarterly technical goals for the Communications area.
• Design and evolve backend services for high-volume messaging across multi-region, multi-tenant environments.
• Collaborate with product management, design, analytics, security, and engineering partners.
• Define and operate resilient integrations with external messaging vendors.
