Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to lead a major enterprise migration and modernization. You will drive re-platforming of 20+ Java and .NET ecosystems from on-prem to a resilient Azure cloud, designing robust CI/CD pipelines and scalable infrastructure.

Role requires strong Terraform, Kubernetes, Python, and PowerShell skills, plus deep experience in security, governance, and large-scale deployment strategies. Hybrid work model with Poland-based remote options.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production-grade experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps Services.
• Hands-on experience architecting and operating Kubernetes clusters in production.
• Deep understanding of deployment pipelines, CI/CD, and release engineering.
• Strong Terraform design, state management, and secure provisioning.
• Programming in Python and PowerShell for automation.
• Excellent Git workflows knowledge and PR reviews.
• Solid background in systems administration, networking and DevOps culture.
• Proficiency in English at a B2+ level.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale cloud and on-prem environments for complex migrations.
• Design and integrate continuous delivery workflows with GitLab, Jenkins, and CodeDeploy.
• Modernize VM lifecycle management and provisioning practices.
• Develop and maintain Terraform modules with security and governance.
• Write automation scripts in Python and PowerShell for deployments.
