Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a seasoned Lead Azure Cloud Engineer to architect, deploy, and manage secure, scalable Azure solutions. You will work across Azure infrastructure, IaC, AKS, and AI-enabled cloud services to deliver modern, containerized workloads.

You will collaborate with Cloud Architects, Platform Engineering, DevOps, and Security teams to implement repeatable deployment patterns, secure configurations, and production-ready services at scale.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience architecting, deploying, and managing Azure cloud solutions in enterprise settings.
• Solid knowledge of Azure networking, identity, governance, security, monitoring, and platform services.
• Experience with Terraform or other IaC tools and multi-environment delivery.
• Strong CI/CD experience using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI/CD.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes, AKS, containers, and container security.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled cloud tooling and secure DevSecOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure including subscriptions, networking, and security.
• Develop repeatable deployment patterns for apps, APIs, and AI-driven solutions.
• Deploy and manage AKS environments with autoscaling, ingress, and security controls.
• Create IaC using Terraform and integrate with CI/CD pipelines.
• Build CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI/CD.
• Enable DevOps practices including automated builds, testing, and release automation.
• Leverage AI-assisted tooling to boost productivity across scripting and pipeline development.
• Deploy observability using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
