Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a team delivering cutting-edge cloud solutions for a financial services application. You will develop and maintain IaC, optimize Azure-based infrastructure, and ensure secure, scalable deployments.

Hybrid work from the Wroclaw office 3 days per week, collaborating with developers, QA and product teams to remove bottlenecks and improve workflows while advancing CI/CD and infrastructure excellence.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on DevOps experience with Linux systems
• Strong background in Linux administration and shell scripting
• Expertise in Azure Cloud including Azure CLI and ARM/Bicep templates
• Experience with IaC tools such as Ansible
• Proven ability to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitLab
• Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of Terraform and infrastructure automation
• Scripting in Python, Bash, Kotlin or PowerShell
• Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana and ELK stack
• Understanding security best practices and compliance requirements
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher
• Nice to have AZ-900 certification
• Knowledge of Terraform

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain IaC for Azure cloud platform (AKS, NSGs, DBs, VMs, etc)
• Modernize and optimize infrastructure using best practices and emerging tech
• Evaluate and integrate tools to streamline processes and improve scalability
• Engineer scalable, reliable, and secure solutions from scratch
• Collaborate with developers, QA and product teams to remove bottlenecks
• Support and evolve the engineering culture and workflows
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and share knowledge widely
