Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to drive a large-scale cloud transformation. You will design and implement both cloud and on-prem infrastructure, build robust CI/CD pipelines, and lead migration of Java and .NET apps to AWS across multiple strategies.

The role emphasizes Terraform/CloudFormation, security, automation, and collaboration across teams. Hybrid work in Poland with global projects and relocation opportunities may be available.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on production experience with a strong DevOps background.
• 5+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services and AWS DevOps services.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration, especially Kubernetes.
• Expertise in CI/CD design, implementation, and integration.
• Proficiency in Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Excellent knowledge of Git and modern version control practices.
• Scripting and automation skills in PowerShell and Python.
• English proficiency at a B2+ level.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and configure AWS and on-premises infrastructure for enterprise migration projects.
• Develop, implement, and integrate CI/CD pipelines using Git, GitLab (DXOne), Jenkins, CodePipeline, and CodeDeploy.
• Provision, configure, and maintain AWS EC2 instances per best practices.
• Write and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Ensure AWS security best practices, IAM roles, security groups, and access controls.
• Automate routine operations and deployment workflows using PowerShell and Python.
