Job summary

EPAM Systems in Wrocław is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build and operate scalable cloud infrastructure for a mission-critical financial services application. You will own IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud security in a hybrid office setup.

You will collaborate with developers, QA and product teams, mentor juniors, and contribute to knowledge sharing, documentation, and engineering culture. This role offers Poland-wide remote options and relocation opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on DevOps experience.
• Linux systems background and shell scripting.
• Azure cloud expertise with Azure CLI and ARM/Bicep.
• IaC experience with Ansible.
• GitLab CI/CD pipelines experience.
• Docker and Kubernetes expertise.
• Python, Bash, Kotlin, PowerShell scripting.
• Monitoring with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK.
• Security best practices understanding.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain IaC for Azure, including AKS, NSGs, DBs and VMs.
• Modernize infrastructure using best practices and new tech.
• Evaluate and integrate tools to streamline processes and scalability.
• Engineer scalable, reliable and secure solutions from scratch.
• Collaborate with developers, QA and product teams to remove bottlenecks.
• Support and evolve the engineering culture.
• Maintain documentation and share knowledge.
