Inetum Polska is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join an agile platform engineering team. You will own an AWS-based Kubernetes platform (EKS) supporting internal software teams, focusing on reliability, scalability, and automation to improve Developer Experience.

The role requires German language proficiency, hands-on AWS/Kubernetes expertise, IaC/CI-CD skills, and the ability to work in a hybrid model with occasional travel to onsite offices in Poland and Cologne, Germany.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in German enabling fluent communication.
• Proven experience in AWS Cloud Engineering.
• Strong expertise in Kubernetes, particularly Amazon EKS.
• Hands-on experience with production Kubernetes operations.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and CI/CD automation.
• Solid understanding of platform engineering principles.
• Experience with cloud observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Thanos, and AWS CloudWatch.
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices.
• Familiarity with multicloud environments.
• Strong collaboration skills, particularly with Developer Experience teams.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to document infrastructure architecture and technical changes effectively.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations for platform reliability.

Responsabilités

• Develop, maintain, and operate production Kubernetes clusters on AWS EKS.
• Ensure the reliability, security, scalability, and performance of the cloud platform.
• Manage AWS infrastructure, including EC2, VPC, IAM, EKS, S3, and Lambda.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployments using IaC and CI/CD practices.
• Build, maintain, and enhance observability solutions using Grafana, Prometheus, Thanos, and AWS CloudWatch.
• Improve platform monitoring, operational visibility, and incident response capabilities.
• Collaborate with the Developer Experience team to create and improve internal developer self-service capabilities.
• Support the development of Golden Paths and standardized developer workflows.
• Continuously optimize cloud infrastructure, automation, security, and platform performance.
• Document infrastructure architecture, operating procedures, and technical changes.
• Participate in the on-call rotation to ensure platform availability outside regular business hours.
