Job summary

Dotlinkers IT recruitmentis seeking a Principal DevOps Engineer in Kraków with strong AWS and Kubernetes expertise. You will own the PAM platform infrastructure end-to-end, from design through delivery, and will set standards as the first DevOps engineer in Poland.

You will shape cloud architecture, implement IaC with Terraform, run EKS, and drive observability and incident readiness across production systems. Hybrid work offered with strong collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in DevOps, Platform or Infrastructure Engineering.
• 3+ years at Staff or Principal level.
• Hands-on AWS experience is essential.
• Strong Kubernetes experience, ideally EKS.
• Terrafrom IaC experience.
• Experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with high availability and high throughput systems.
• Strong networking and cloud architecture knowledge.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Design and build the AWS infrastructure for the PAM platform from scratch.
• Own the infrastructure lifecycle from research through production delivery.
• Design AWS account structures, networking, IAM, and cloud infra.
• Build and operate the Kubernetes platform using Amazon EKS.
• Create scalable, highly available production infrastructure.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Build and maintain GitOps and CI/CD using Argo CD or similar.
• Establish observability across metrics, logs, tracing and alerts.
• Define production readiness, reliability and incident response practices.
• Work on backup, DR and business continuity strategies.
• Collaborate with backend, security, AI platform and other teams.
• Mentor engineers and promote cloud-native DevOps best practices.
