Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team in Poland. You will design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, build AWS-based cloud solutions, and manage infrastructure as code with Terraform and CloudFormation.

You’ll automate deployments with Bash and Python while ensuring security and reliability across enterprise systems. Key responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, improving tooling, and supporting networking in cloud and on-prem environments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of proven AWS DevOps experience in cloud delivery environments.
• Strong CI/CD development and integration experience (Git, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins).
• Proficiency with Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
• Security best practices for AWS including IAM and security groups.
• Scripting and automation: Bash, Python, SQL; Perl useful.
• Experience with configuration/orchestration tools: Ansible, Puppet, Rundeck.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines for apps and infra.
• Develop and support AWS-based cloud solutions with automation and reliability.
• Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Automate deployment processes using Bash, Python and other scripts.
• Support source control and build/release with Git, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins.
• Collaborate across teams to implement deployment, monitoring, and reliability best practices.
• Participate in tooling improvements, platform upgrades, and DevOps initiatives.
• Ensure AWS environments adhere to security best practices (IAM, security groups).
• Assist networking tasks in AWS and on-premises environments.
• Contribute to troubleshooting and continuous improvement efforts.
