Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc is seeking an experienced Senior Automation Tester in Java to join our automation journey for SimCorp Dimension, a core accounting platform for asset management. You will drive automation first in an Agile QA space and collaborate with IT and business stakeholders across locations.

Responsibilities include hands-on testing, building scalable automation frameworks, and delivering test strategies for multi-layer testing of desktop, web, APIs, and cloud apps.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven development and/or Automation Testing experience, ideally in finance.

• Enable and drive a culture of Shift-Left and Automation-First in the Agile Delivery Organization, especially in QA.
• Collaborate with IT and Business stakeholders across multiple locations, including international teams.
• Execute hands-on manual testing (functional, regression, UAT) and ensure coverage where automation isn’t suitable.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated frameworks and test scripts.
• Develop tools and integrate them with existing tools to boost test engineering productivity.
• Define automation strategies and plans to deliver efficiencies via automation.
• Apply automated testing for Desktop, Web, APIs, Microservices, ETL and cloud apps.
• Perform in-sprint automation testing and build a regression test suite.
• Manage test and defect lifecycle in agile methodologies and tools.
• Generate test reports and status for stakeholders at multiple levels.
