Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc seeks an experienced Automation Test Engineer to lead testing for a cloud-native Azure solution. You will convert user stories into executable BDD examples, promote TDD, and drive automation across API, UI, and integration tests using Playwright.

You will work in a hybrid setup in Wroclaw, collaborating with autonomous pods within Agile teams, and mentor others on modern automation practices while ensuring deterministic results and robust code reviews.

Qualifications

• 5+ years defining test strategies and maintainable automation for complex apps.
• Proficient in TypeScript/JavaScript plus Java or Python.
• Hands-on with Playwright including cross-browser, API testing, mocking, tracing and parallelism.

We are looking for a Mid- and Senior-level Automation Test Engineer to join a team modernizing banking technology in an agile environment. You'll lead test automation, build quality into delivery from the outset and raise the team's testing capability.
