Job summary

EPAM Systems in Kraków seeks a Senior Java Full Stack Developer to design and build next-generation business applications using Java backend and modern frontend frameworks. You will refine requirements, collaborate with architects and 3rd party providers, and drive delivery while continuously learning.

Responsibilities include designing sustainable solutions, conducting code reviews, and ensuring smooth moves from test to production.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering with Java.
• Experience in modern web app development across backend and frontend.
• Strong knowledge of Java frameworks (Spring, JPA, Hibernate).
• Front-end skills in TypeScript/JavaScript, Angular and React.
• RDBMS expertise in Oracle and PostgreSQL, plus PL/SQL.
• Event-driven architecture with Kafka; cloud tech (Azure).
• DevOps basics with Git/GitLab/Jenkins; Ansible, Linux, shell scripts.
• Clear communication in English (B2+).

Responsibilities

• Design, plan and deliver sustainable solutions for business apps.
• Analyze requirements and refine user needs; remove ambiguity.
• Collaborate with architects and 3rd parties to drive delivery.
• Conduct code reviews and test software as needed.
• Participate in architecture/design and SDLC phases.
• Ensure proper operational controls for moves from test to production.
