Job summary

Workatbackbase is seeking a Senior Applied AI Engineer (Android) to elevate Android development across R&D. You will set engineering standards, migrate release infrastructure, and apply AI tools to accelerate mobile delivery.

Leading platform changes, you’ll unify pipelines for 600+ engineers and drive scalable multi-module architectures while ensuring accessibility, security, and performance. Hybrid Kraków-based role with strong impact.

Qualifications

• Expert-level Kotlin and Jetpack Compose skills with modern Android patterns.
• Experience architecting multi-module libraries and SDKs.
• Hands-on CI/CD with GitHub Actions and strong TDD / UI testing.
• Familiarity with AI tools and prompt engineering for mobile workflows.

Responsibilities

• Migrate and optimize Android release pipelines and CI/CD processes.
• Define and enforce platform engineering standards and reusable components.
• Integrate AI-assisted workflows and testing utilities into daily tasks.
• Collaborate with pilot teams to drive adoption of new SDLC practices.
