Job summary

Capgemini Poland is seeking an experienced Android developer to join our cross-functional teams building native mobile apps for enterprise clients. You will participate in the full development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to deployment and maintenance, using Kotlin or Java and modern Android SDKs.

You will collaborate with UI/UX designers and backend engineers, apply MVVM and MVP patterns, and contribute to code quality, CI/CD, and DevOps basics.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience developing native Android apps.
• Proficient in Kotlin or Java and Android SDK.
• Strong knowledge of MVP/MVVM, Dagger/Hilt, RxJava/RxBinding.
• Experience with Room/Realm/SQLite, REST/ Retrofit.
• Good knowledge of Android Jetpack and Git/Gitflow.
• Basic knowledge of mobile DevOps and CI/CD.
• Fluent English and German (B2+).
• Interest in AI-assisted software development and learning coding agents.

Responsibilities

• Co-developing and enhancing mobile applications based on the Android platform across project lifecycles.
• Taking responsibility for part or all of the system depending on the project.
• Integrating applications with backend, cloud, and low-code platforms.
• Collaborating with UX/UI teams to ensure strong user experience and satisfaction.
• Applying modern tools and practices, including AI-assisted coding tools, while ensuring code quality, security, and technical decisions.
