Job summary

Backbase is seeking a Senior Applied AI Engineer (iOS) to lead modern iOS development practices from architecture to implementation. You will unify release pipelines, empower automation, and drive AI-enabled delivery across R&D.

You will mentor teams, define scalable iOS standards with Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit, and ensure secure, accessible, and testable software. Hybrid Kraków office with learning budget and health benefits awaits.

Qualifications

• Excellent mastery of Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, and async/await patterns.
• Experience designing stable Framework APIs/ABIs and modular architectures.
• Proven CI/CD automation experience with GitHub Actions or Xcode Cloud.
• Applied AI skills for prompting, tooling, and accelerating mobile delivery.

Responsibilities

• Unify iOS SDLC pipelines by moving release workflows to GitHub Actions and aligning with frontend/backend release chains.
• Architect mobile standards using Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit; enforce API/ABI stability, security, and accessibility guidelines.
• Apply AI to iOS delivery via AI tooling, automated assistants, and custom prompt workflows.
• Mentor engineers, pilot teams, and Engineering Ops leads to scale adoption and share best practices.
