Job summary

GlobalLogic is seeking a mature Analytics Engineer to join a strategic project migrating legacy data infrastructure for a major UK bank. The role emphasizes DBT/Databricks, SQL, and ETL/ELT, with responsibilities spanning data investigations, stakeholder alignment, and continuous improvement across data pipelines.

You will partner with engineering leadership to replatform business logic, update data pipelines and SAS dependencies, while enabling data-driven decisions across multiple teams.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving with clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex data investigations and root-cause analysis across the data supply chain using DBT/Databricks and SQL.
• Drive cross-functional troubleshooting, coordinating teams to identify impacts and deliver solutions.
• Own the analysis of data flows, ETL/ELT processes, and transformations to ensure data quality and reliability.
• Translate technical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
• Influence priorities and remediation plans with stakeholders across teams.
• Identify data risks, dependencies and downstream impacts proactively.
• Communicate complex data issues effectively and drive continuous process improvements.
