Job summary

GlobalLogic is seeking an Analytics Engineer in Kraków to join a mature data analytics team. You will investigate complex data issues, lead cross-team data analyses and drive improvements across ETL/ELT pipelines, ensuring data quality and reliability.

The role requires deep SQL knowledge, experience with relational databases and strong English communication. You will collaborate with engineering leadership on data migration and cloud modernization initiatives.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of DBT and/or Databricks to investigate data issues and understand impacts across the data supply chain.
• Ability to lead data analysis and investigations across multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Analytical thinking and strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
• Understanding of ETL/ELT and data transformations processes.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.

The Client is one of the major banks in the UK. This project is a strategic initiative to migrate legacy data infrastructure, including approximately 500 BTEQ scripts and 1,100 tables, to a modern cloud environment. GlobalLogic is establishing a dedicated Features Team to partner with the Client’s engineering leadership. Our team will focus on replatforming business logic, updating data pipelines and repointing SAS dependencies.

We are looking for a mature Analytics Engineer who combines strong technical expertise with analytical and problem-solving skills and who can independently investigate complex issues, identify root causes and propose effective solutions.
