Job summary

GlobalLogic is recruiting an Analytics Engineer to join a dedicated Features Team supporting a major UK bank. The role focuses on migrating legacy data infrastructure to a modern cloud, replatforming business logic, updating data pipelines, and repointing SAS dependencies.

The candidate will lead end-to-end data investigations and drive cross-functional troubleshooting across multiple teams. The position requires strong SQL skills, experience with DBT/Databricks, and excellent English

Qualifications

• DBT and/or Databricks for data investigations
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases
• Understanding of ETL/ELT and data transformations
• Good written and verbal English communication
• Ability to lead data analysis across multiple teams
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Lead complex data investigations and root-cause analysis across end-to-end data supply chain using DBT/Databricks, SQL and relational databases.
• Drive cross-functional troubleshooting efforts, coordinating multiple teams to identify impacts, resolve issues and deliver sustainable solutions.
• Own the analysis of complex data flows, ETL/ELT processes and data transformations, ensuring data quality, integrity and reliability.
• Challenge assumptions and translate complex technical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for technical and business stakeholders.
• Influence stakeholders and facilitate alignment on priorities, remediation strategies and delivery plans.
• Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to proactively identify data risks, dependencies and downstream impacts.
• Communicate complex data and technical issues effectively.
• Drive continuous improvement in data processes, controls and investigation practices to prevent recurring issues and improve overall data reliability.
