Job summary

AML RightSource is looking for a Senior Manager in Kraków to lead and mentor large teams on AML/Financial Crimes projects. You will supervise day‑to‑day client engagements, drive KPI/KRI reporting, and manage risk while growing the business with direct client contact.

You will design reports, coordinate training, and ensure timely billing and compliance. Remote work options may apply; strong regulatory and crypto‑risk knowledge is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 6–7+ years AML/Financial Crimes experience.
• Experience in fraud, sanctions, payments, Fintech, or AML regulations is a plus.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and coach teams of more than 50 employees.
• Ability to lead projects, coordinate timelines, and implement action items.
• Strong AML subject‑matter and project management skills to manage scope, budget, and timelines.
• Ability to resolve potential risks and issues while managing client expectations.
• Deep understanding of identity verification standards, due diligence, and business structure assessments.
• Knowledge of crypto‑specific risks and blockchain tracing methodologies.
• Familiarity with VASP interactions and global regulatory frameworks (FATF, FinCEN, EU AMLD).

Responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day operations on AML/FC engagements and manage risk escalation.
• Supervise operations in accordance with terms of service agreements and SOW/contract.
• Establish quality standards and implement quality control processes with Managers or Team Leads.
• Prepare reports and timely manage risks/issues on the engagement.
• Assist the Director or appointed lead in designing and implementing KPI/KRI reports.
• Identify and coordinate training needs for the project team.
• Attend client meetings and ensure appropriate AMLRS team members participate.
• Assess engagement leverage model to meet production needs and keep it aligned to the SOW.
• Ensure correct NetSuite time submission by the engagement team.
• Ensure client billing/invoices are completed accurately and sent for timely approval.
• Perform advanced KYC/KYB reviews, including risk assessments, source‑of‑funds analysis, and enhanced due diligence.
• Investigate blockchain transaction flows, identify illicit typologies, and draft SAR/STR reports.
• Support policy clarifications, playbook updates, and QA/QC alignment.
• Identify new opportunities or extensions of current work based on client AML programs.
• Organize and lead periodic touch points with client stakeholders to assess needs and gather feedback.
• Partner with the Director or appropriate Lead to prepare materials for client business or executive meetings.
• Participate in internal strategic initiatives across the Managed Services practice.
• Promote inclusive mentoring and coaching relationships across all staff levels.
• Work with Managers to create and facilitate opportunities for personal development and career progression.
• Ensure timely performance reviews and client surveys, promoting a culture of compliance.
