Job summary

Esko is seeking an experienced software engineer to join the AI Platform team in Prague. You will design knowledge representations and build platform services to ingest, curate, retrieve, and version knowledge for AI-powered workflows.

You will work with domain experts and product teams to turn informal knowledge into structured, testable content with clear provenance and release practices. Key work includes semantic retrieval, validation, and human review coordination, plus building APIs and

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software engineering, preferably owning a platform or shared-services.
• Experience building knowledge, retrieval, or rule systems.
• Comfort operating at the boundary between platform and domain teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design the knowledge representation so that agents and validators can use it and humans can read it.
• Build and operate platform services for ingesting, curating, retrieving, and versioning knowledge.
• Define how semantic retrieval, deterministic validation, and human review work together.
• Design and implement reusable APIs and tools for applying and explaining knowledge.
• Build evaluation suites covering retrieval quality, applicability, and explanation quality.
• Take end-to-end ownership of substantial technical areas, including security, isolation, reliability, and observability.
• Collaborate with domain experts and product teams to turn informal expertise into structured knowledge.
