Job summary

Esko is seeking an engineering leader to head the Agentic AI team within its Prague-based hybrid setup. You will drive end-to-end ownership of substantial platform areas, shaping technical direction and ensuring high-quality, scalable solutions that empower product teams across the organization.

You will work with product engineering, architecture, cloud platform, security, and design to translate needs into coherent platform capabilities, taking responsibility for production-grade AI workflows

Qualifications

• Strong production software engineering experience in Python, TypeScript, Java, or a similar language.
• Experience leading and developing engineers, including line management and coaching.
• Experience building a platform, API, or shared service used by multiple teams.
• Experience designing or building production AI systems with large language models or agentic workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Agentic AI engineering team with clear goals and performance feedback.
• Contribute to design, implementation, and operation of Agentic AI platform areas.
• Shape platform direction, architecture, interfaces, and engineering quality.
• Translate product and engineering needs into reusable platform capabilities.
• Establish engineering practices for reliability, security, observability, and performance.
• Help product teams adopt the shared platform and move capabilities to production.
• Foster an environment for experimentation and evidence-based decision making.
• Define metrics for platform adoption, quality, and delivery effectiveness.
• Collaborate with product engineering, architecture, security, and management.
