Job summary

Esko is seeking a senior security engineer to help shape and build the security foundations of its AI Platform. You will take end-to-end ownership of substantial security areas and collaborate with cloud platform teams, security engineers, compliance specialists, and product engineering teams to implement secure, reusable controls across products.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, building and operating secure production systems in Python or TypeScript.
• Minimum 5 years in software engineering with cloud/security focus.
• Practical threat modelling and security testing experience.
• Experience with AI systems including LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation, or agents.
• Ability to design reusable platform controls and APIs.
• Strong ability to communicate security trade-offs to technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Shape the AI Platform's security architecture and own substantial security components.
• Design and implement identity, authorization, delegated access, and policy enforcement controls for AI systems.
• Secure retrieval, tool use, and execution against prompt injection, unauthorized actions, data leakage, and AI threats.
• Design controls proportional to risk, with approval gates and isolation.
• Build audit and monitoring capabilities for traceability and review routing.
• Conduct threat modelling and adversarial testing to translate findings into shared controls.
