Job summary

BEC Financial Technologies is seeking a Senior AI Engineering Specialist to drive AI adoption in software engineering and guide teams in AI-powered ways of working. You will shape best practices and support AI utilization in financial products, potentially impacting +500 employees.

Your direct manager will be Henriette Jensen, and the role involves collaboration with AI engineers, architects and external partners, located mostly in Warsaw with limited travel to Denmark.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as software engineer or architect.
• Hands-on with Generative AI, LLMs and AI-assisted development.
• Experience with AI platforms like Claude Code and Copilot.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and modern workflows.
• Fluent English communication, written and spoken.
• Proactive, solution- and service-oriented; knowledge sharing.

Responsibilities

• Establish best practices for AI-assisted software development and workflows.
• Develop prototypes and provide AI SME expertise across domains.
• Act as a trusted advisor to engineering teams adopting AI.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and models relevant to software engineering.
• Collaborate with architects, platform engineers and partners to identify AI opportunities.
• Join AI hub in Warsaw with occasional travel to Denmark; share knowledge through training.
