Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking an experienced AI Architect to lead end-to-end architecture for an AI-driven financial advisory platform. You will own data ingestion, ontology, graph structures, and DSL interfaces, ensuring robust governance and traceability throughout the stack.

You will collaborate with engineering, compliance, and clients to align architecture with regulatory and business requirements, delivering auditable, scalable solutions in a hybrid work model with remote options in Poland.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in AI Engineering or related role.
• Strong hands-on Python development experience with FastAPI.
• Experience designing AI agent orchestration systems, including LLM gateways.
• Understanding of responsible AI governance and regulatory mapping.
• Experience with AWS in production environments.
• Rigorous testing practices including unit, integration, and UAT.
• Proficiency in observability and structured logging.
• Excellent written and spoken English (B2+).

Responsibilities

• Own and drive end-to-end architecture from data ingestion to AI advisory outputs.
• Define contracts across data assets, ontology, graph structures, and DSL.
• Design governance with ADR/RFCs and traceable justification.
• Build hands-on solutions and iterate while maintaining quality.
• Incorporate verification, runtime checks, and auditability across layers.
• Collaborate with engineering, compliance, and clients to meet requirements.
