Job summary

MMDSmart seeks a senior engineer to own features end-to-end across a Go backend and a React/TypeScript frontend. You will design for high-load, distributed production systems and guide AI coding agents as part of daily development. You will own the final output and contribute to architecture decisions, while working in a remote-capable environment.

This role emphasizes AI-assisted delivery as the default method and requires strong ownership, independence, and solid Go and frontend experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 4 years of production Go experience.
• Experience with React and/or TypeScript; comfortable with frontend code.
• Hands-on experience with high-load and distributed production systems.
• Experience using AI coding tools beyond autocomplete.
• Ability to review AI outputs and own final results.

Responsibilities

• Own features end-to-end across Go backend and React/TypeScript frontend.
• Design and develop solutions for high-load, distributed production systems.
• Use AI coding tools as an integral part of daily development workflow.
• Guide AI agents, review and verify outputs, and take ownership of final results.
• Build and evolve backend services, APIs, frontend functionality, and integrations.
• Investigate production issues and drive to resolution.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and system improvements.
• Improve codebase and practices for AI-assisted engineering.
