Job summary

Remote Office is seeking an AI-first Full Stack Engineer to build across the AEM stack—from frontend components to backend services. You will work with senior engineers and architects and use AI coding tools daily, explaining and defending AI-generated code before PRs.

Role emphasizes AEM Sites development, DAM workflows, Java/Spring REST services, and React-based frontend experiences with WCAG 2.1 AA compliance.

Qualifications

• 4–6+ years in full stack software engineering with at least 2 years on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
• Demonstrated, current use of AI coding assistants across code, tests, and documentation, with ability to explain AI-generated code.
• AEM Sites component and template development: Sling Models, HTL/Sightly, client libraries, OSGi services.
• Hands-on experience with AEM Assets including DAM workflows and metadata basics.
• Strong core Java (Java 8+), Spring, and RESTful API design.
• React JS or a modern frontend framework; WCAG 2.1 AA awareness.
• Experience with Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium for automated testing.
• Experience in Agile teams with Scrum ceremonies.

Responsibilities

• Use AI coding tools as the default way of working across code, tests, and documentation, reviewing and testing before PRs.
• Build and maintain AEM Sites components, templates, and Sling Models under guidance of senior engineers.
• Configure and support AEM Assets, including DAM workflows.
• Develop backend services in Java (Spring, REST APIs) and integrate with enterprise systems.
• Build componentized frontend experiences using React JS and ensure WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure CI/CD quality gates are met.
• Take ownership of features within a sprint and escalate design questions when needed.
• Write and maintain automated tests using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
