Job summary

Netwrix is seeking an AI Data Engineer to design, build and operate enterprise-grade data and AI platforms. You will work with Netwrix solutions and internal platforms to enable AI capabilities while emphasizing security and governance.

The role blends data engineering, platform engineering, and IT operations in a mostly remote setting. The ideal candidate brings 5–7 years in data/platform engineering, strong Python/SQL skills, and hands-on experience with Azure/AWS, IaC, and GenAI integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and operate data and AI platforms as code, using Git‑based workflows as the source of truth.
• Implement pull‑request‑driven change control, automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Define and maintain Infrastructure‑as‑Code for data and AI systems to ensure consistency, traceability, and rollback capability.
• Design and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for AI/ML model training, feature stores, batch and near‑real‑time inference.
• Design pipelines for embedding generation, vector database ingestion, and context retrieval.
• Monitor data quality, schema integrity, pipeline performance, and data drift; integrate security/compliance; maintain lineage.
• Operationalize models with MLOps: versioning, retraining, rollback; ensure observability.
• Build and operate Azure-based data and AI platforms; optimize cost, performance, reliability; support hybrid environments.
• Collaborate across IT Ops, Security, Data Science, Product; translate requirements into durable architectures; produce runbooks.
