Job summary

Nordea is seeking Expert AI Specialists to own reliable, secure, and scalable AI-enabled platforms. You will shape solution choices, build production-grade AI infrastructure, and guide teams in responsible AI adoption in line with Nordea standards.

You will join the SRE Operations team, modernizing legacy platforms to container-based architectures with Mirantis Kubernetes and Docker, and drive engineering practices that scale across product owners, engineers and cybersecurity teams.

Qualifications

• 7 years of relevant experience in IT operations, SRE, platform engineering or cloud infrastructure.
• Strong DevOps and operations expertise across support, maintenance, deployment, automation and platform administration.
• Deep experience with cloud operations in Google Cloud; AWS/Azure knowledge is a plus.
• Advanced troubleshooting using logs, metrics and traces to resolve complex issues.
• Proficient in Linux/Unix, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible and Git-based workflows.
• Experience designing AI-enabled solutions and production workflows in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Take technical ownership of reliable, secure, scalable cloud and AI-enabled services.
• Define observability, monitoring, SLOs, incident response and production readiness with focus on Google Cloud.
• Design AI-enabled environments, including agentic workflows and retrieval-augmented generation.
• Translate business needs into sustainable technical solutions and guide engineering teams.
• Lead onboarding of services to infrastructure and tools, ensuring maintainability.
• Provide guidance, resolve complex issues, and raise engineering standards across teams.
• Contribute to architecture decisions balancing security, governance and value.
