Qualifications

• University degree in a quantitative field (Math/Physics/IT/Economics/Finance).
• 5+ years in a similar actuarial role.
• Knowledge of financial reporting standards (Solvency II, IFRS4/IFRS17).
• Experience using statistical tools (SAS/R/VBA).
• Experience with international teams and agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Understand financial reporting systems and derive business requirements.
• Collaborate in international teams across actuarial and IT within an agile framework.
• Provide expertise and support for Clients/Partners.
• Analyze data and results to inform decisions.
• Develop tools to support actuarial analysis of results.

About the role

We are searching for a Senior Actuarial Consultant (Non-Life). This role involves performing data and results analysis and providing expert insights and support to clients using strong analytical skills and actuarial knowledge.

How you will get the job done

• understanding the financial reporting systems and dependencies between them, in order to derive an appropriate business requirements and prepare business test cases
• collaborating in an international environment within the team (actuarial and IT team members), across teams, and with the Product Owner, in an agile framework
• providing expertise and support for Clients/Partners
• performing analysis of data and results
• implementing business analysis tools to support analysis of results
• participating in meetings and maintaining contact with the Clients/Partners (e.g. workshops and project meetings, trainings)
• performing other tasks entrusted by superiors, within the scope of the position, and possessed competencies

Skills and experience you will need

• fluency in English
• a university degree in Mathematics, Physics, Technical faculty of IT, Economics or Financial
• at least 5 years of professional experience in a similar actuarial position
• knowledge of financial reporting standards e.g. Solvency II, IFRS4, or IFRS17
• knowledge of programming languages used for statistical analysis e.g. SAS EG, R, VBA
• professional experience in implementation of business analysis tools, analyzing actuarial results; working with project teams, and in international frameworks
• strong analytical and problem-solving skills, openness, customer needs orientation, and good presentation skills
• currently in progress of passing actuarial exams
