Job summary

ERGO Technology & Services S.A. (ET&S) in Warsaw seeks a Lead Actuarial Data Scientist to translate ERGO Group's pricing vision into market results. You will lead major initiatives impacting profitability across international markets and collaborate with the Head of Global P&C Pricing Hub.

The role requires 5+ years in actuarial pricing and data science for P&C insurance, with skills in Python, R, SQL, and ML/DL frameworks. Remote-friendly with on-site Warsaw presence.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English (C1).
• 5+ years of experience combining actuarial pricing and advanced data science in P&C insurance.
• Proven ability to lead cross-entity analytics projects and deliver measurable portfolio improvement.
• Expertise in Python, R, SQL and ML/DL frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Strong statistical modelling, feature engineering, and data visualisation skills.

Responsibilities

• Designing and overseeing development of next-generation pricing models using ML, GLM, and advanced predictive techniques.
• Integrating AI-driven insights into multi-line pricing strategies for Motor, Property, Liability, Legal Protection, and other lines of business.
• Leading cross-country pricing analytics projects from concept to operational deployment.
• Establishing data governance and feature engineering best practices for high-quality modelling.
• Partnering with underwriting, product, and claims teams to align model outputs with business objectives.

About the role

As Lead Actuarial Data Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in translating the ERGO Group’s global pricing vision into tangible market results. Working alongside the Head of Global P&C Pricing Hub, you’ll lead major initiatives that directly impact ERGO’s competitive positioning and profitability in all our international markets.
