Job summary

Merck Group is seeking a seasoned accountant to own financial reporting for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and audit readiness under IFRS and local GAAP. You will be the main accounting contact for entity CFOs, providing visibility on status and guiding resolution with global and local teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in accounting/finance, knowledge of IFRS/GAAP, and strong communication to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years in professional accounting, finance or audit.
• Knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP, tax rules, and regulations.
• Ability to communicate complex accounting topics clearly to stakeholders.
• Ambition to drive improvements and strengthen controls.

Responsibilities

• Own financial reporting for a portfolio of legal entities, IFRS and local GAAP.
• Serve as the primary accounting contact for entity CFOs and key stakeholders.
• Coordinate with centralized accounting, Tax, Treasury and Group Functions.
• Identify risks early and drive resolution across teams.
