Job summary

Capgemini in Kraków is seeking an experienced R2R Finance and Accounting Manager (German) to own General Ledger activities, coordinate month-end close, monitor balances, and ensure accurate, compliant financial reporting under GAAP/IFRS. You will drive process improvements and support audits.

You will partner with Tax and Corporate Finance, mentor GL teams, and contribute to automation initiatives while providing stakeholders with meaningful financial insights. Hybrid work model available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years in accounting, finance, or financial analysis.
• Experience managing GL activities for legal entities or country-level ops.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS and compliant financial reporting.
• Experience coaching or advising GL teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of General Ledger accounting activities for assigned entities.
• Coordinate and oversee month-end closing, ensuring accuracy of financial records.
• Monitor and analyze account balances, resolving discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Tax and Corporate Finance to ensure GAAP/IFRS compliance.
• Act as main contact for internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with policies, standards and controls.
• Support process improvement and automation within R2R.
• Provide guidance and knowledge support to accounting team members.
