Job summary

Pave is hiring a Finance Professional to own Polish accounting, tax and payroll for our Kraków hub. Youll partner with全球 Finance leadership to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely close cycles.

This hands-on role focuses on Polish statutory reporting, payroll management, APC/AR, and inter‑company processes. Youll work with external payroll providers, tax advisors, and auditors, while leveraging ERP and automation to scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a Polish accounting firm or international company.
• Deep knowledge of Polish statutory accounting, VAT/JPK, CIT and KSeF e-invoicing requirements.
• Hands‑on experience with Polish payroll, and with managing external payroll providers.
• Strong AP, AR and collections experience with measurable results (DSO improvement).
• Familiarity with US GAAP and supporting a US-headquartered parent; ACCA/CPA/CIMA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own accounting, tax and payroll for the Poland entity: monthly close, reconciliations, VAT and filings, statutory reporting and year-end.
• Run Polish payroll end-to-end or oversee our provider, with accuracy and on-time payment each cycle.
• Manage accounts payable for the US entity: invoice intake, coding, approvals and payments.
• Own accounts receivable and collections for the US entity: invoicing, cash application, aging reviews and follow-up.
• Prepare and post journal entries (accruals, prepaid, reclasses, inter‑company) and support US month-end close.
• Maintain inter‑company accounting and transfer pricing documentation between Polish and US entities; coordinate with external tax advisors and auditors.
• Document processes, strengthen controls and automate manual work as we scale.
