Job summary

Akamai is seeking a Security Researcher to help detect and mitigate cyber and fraud attacks. You will update telemetry collection mechanisms, including the Akamai Mobile SDK, to improve signal accuracy and protection.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AI/LLM tools and AI agents to accelerate reverse engineering and automation.
• Ability to analyze and bypass advanced security controls like canvas/TLS fingerprinting, SSL pinning, and root/jailbreak detection.
• Data-driven mindset and strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Updating and maintenance of defensive telemetry collection mechanisms (including the Akamai Mobile SDK) to improve signal accuracy, runtime protection, and anti-tampering.
• Partnering with data science and engineering teams to convert reverse-engineering findings into automated, production-grade bot-mitigation rules.
