Akamai is seeking a Security Consultant to serve as the primary security services contact, guiding customers through their lifecycle on our platform. You will implement creative solutions, ensure successful integration, and advise across teams to maximize security outcomes and customer value.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on knowledge of security concepts, event management, and network protocols, plus DevOps or SecOps awareness.

Formación

• Working knowledge of security technology processes and concepts.
• Understanding of security event management.
• Familiarity with security compliance requirements.
• Knowledge of computer networks concepts and protocols (HTTP, TLS, TCP/IP, DNS, etc.).
• Understanding of DevOps or SecOps principles as they relate to web development and IT security.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the primary security services contact ensuring successful integration and consultancy across the customer lifecycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate customer architecture and address technical challenges.
• Participate in training and projects contributing to best practices and service quality.
• Demonstrate Akamai's value, ensuring customer engagement with both technical and business audiences.
